High performance
Through adopting herringbone plates for enhancing heat transfer performance, a higher heat transfer rate and thus smaller heat transfer area than in shell and tube heat exchangers can be obtained.
Light and compact
Since the brazed structure enables thinner material to be used, the PHE is more compact and lighter than a shell and tube heat exchanger of similar capacity. However, the BHE is more compact and lighter than the PHE.
Two fluids temperature difference up to its extremely close
The construction which permits heat exchanging in perfect counter-current flow with very high heat transfer efficiency makes it possible to utilize the temperature difference between hot and cold fluid up to 1oC and less.
Excellent heat resistance and pressure resistance
Since the structure is a tough gasket-less brazed structure, high sealing performance and excellent pressure resistance, heat resistance and cold resistance can be obtained.
