A transformer which has an incorporated device that automatically maintains required (secondary) voltage at the pre-determined level even when supplied (primary) voltage fluctuates. Employs the latest technology with high quality enamel coated copper conductor windings utilized in both sides of the coil. Transformer mineral oil is used as an electrical insulation and to assist in heat dissipation inside the transformer tank. The transformer is also equipped with standard protection equipment such as a Buchholz Relay (a gas and oil actuated safety device which detects and warns of transformer faults),
a Thermometer (which detects and warns of excessive temperature increases) and a Pressure Relief Valve (which releases excessive pressure build-up inside the transformer tank to prevent the transformer tank from being deformed).
Product application
Suitable for facilities/premises that are located in areas where supplied voltage fluctuates (due to location being far away from utility sub-station or in location where there are many electrical load users) causing electrical equipment, appliances and machines to malfunction or be damaged.
Product feature and benefit
This electrical transformer with an incorporated automatic voltage regulating device :
- offers high levels of convenience and safety by removing the need to manually adjust the voltage tap when supplied voltage fluctuates
- has lower cost than stand-alone 400V automatic voltage regulator (AVR) equipment
- benefits the user’s entire electrical system as compared to stand-alone AVR equipment which benefits a particular machine or group of machines only
- enhances the product usage lifetime of user’s electrical equipment, appliances and machines
- has high durability and long product usage lifetime
- can substitute existing installed transformers and can be installed “hassle-free”
- conservator type or hermetically sealed type are available
- remote controller at your control room is available (optional)
- is able to perform at FULL kVA (100% rating)
- has lower operating noise levels compared to other standard transformers of the same kVA rating
- has low partial discharge resulting in longer operational lifetime
- has greatly reduced corrosive sulfur build-up relate problems due to utillzation
- can be designed and manufactured to any requirements
