The realization of our top of the range transformer is the result of the combination of technologically advanced design and production processes. Besides meeting current safety and engineering standards, the VDT possesses special properties such as the ability to supply electrical loads beyond normal rated capacity* (kVA) without assistance from forced air fans. It provides unbeatable reliability to the user’s electrical system compared to all other types of transformers offering higher degrees of durability and operating life time. To achieve this, only top quality materials and the resin encapsulation of conducting coils by Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) process are utilized. This process allows the insulating resin to be impregnated into all parts of the transformer coil and together with curing of the impregnated transformer coil at high temperatures results in the VDT being able to perform at it’s optimum and achieves best in it’s class humidity protection.

- eliminates the need for having 2 identical cast resin dry type transformers in parallel operation for higher degree of reliability by substituting with 1 VDT
- very low probability of insulation break-down under normal working conditions and environment due to utilization of excellent high temperature resistant (class H) insulating materials
- able to supply electrical loads higher than normal rated capacity (kVA) without assistance from forced air fans but limited to specified rated capacity ceiling as compared to cast resin dry type transformers which will be critically overloaded if it is energized with forced air fans operating and the forced air fans are to broken down
- lower partial discharge values which translate to longer operating lifetime compared to all other types of transformers
- can be designed and manufactured to different voltage ratings (for medium voltage and below) and to most special requirements.
- uses “green” environmentally friendly materials in the construction which will not cause environmental pollution
