To be able to control air systems reliably, a comprehensive exchange of data between the master controller and the internal compressor controller is required. Unrivalled technical performance and large memory capacity are the main features of the industrial computer that is at the heart of SIGMA Air Manager. The Profibus DP interface (master) allows a single cable to quickly and efficiently exchange large amounts of data with the SIGMA Control Profibus interface (slave). The components of this automation system allow a far more sensitive, energy-saving and sure control of compressed air supply equipment that conventional base-load sequencers with their limited rates of data transfer processing.
